Hyperion Pi Hyperion.ng WebOS

  • Ok, got a weird one.

I've got WLED running on an led strip on the back of my TV and right now I have Hyperion running on a Raspi3 and screen grabber on Amazon fire stick app.

Today I setup Hyperion.ng and Piccap on my Webos TV

in the hope that I could use it across more devices (PS5)

    specifically.

.Ng runs well and does indeed play on everything, included stuff protected by CRM.

HOWEVER, it's noticeably slower than my original setup.

Even my wife and kids see the difference in lag.

I even took an export of the config from my pi setup and

    copied it over.

Anyone experienced in why reducing hardware and having native apps on the actual TV is slower? Is it because Webos sucks?

    I'm super confused. :(

    Which TV, firmware?

Which ESP, WLAN, LAN or USB.

    How is PicCap set up?

    CPU load on LG?

Smoothing turned off in Hyperion and Transitions in WLED?
