SPI device not discovered

  • Hi there, hope I am on the right forum. I have installed hyperion as add on in home assistant. USB capture is going well, remote controll without a problem, but the LED don't light up, because i can't set any device in LED setting (Based on rasp spi). Is this a problem with home assistant (because it is blocking it?), or do i have to do something special to run it? Thanks for your help

    Is SPI enabled?

    ls /dev/spi*

Unfortunately I only have the link for the SPI test in German.

  • I can't open this, because home assistant blocks it (it allowes full eccess to the system - long story, but makes sence for stability). After longer reserches I now dicided to seperate hyperion from homeassist, because it works without any problem as standalone. Also I now can turn it on and shut it off without any problems, so I have not to run two pis permanent (beside needing two of them). Thanks for the test. I saved this as "problemsolver" for future problems and as german is my native language, it's maybe also better than an english explornation for me. Thank you very much for helping =). For my part this threat can be closed, sorry for wasting time trying to get something to work which may shouldn't work together.
