Is sdm rgb strips supported for ambient lightning?

I am planning to setup Hyperion in my PC. Before I buy the hardware I have some questions regarding the supported hardwares.

So I have decided to buy this strip Gesto 5 Meter LED Strip Lights will this work or not?

I also don't want to purchase a rasbery Pi, So I have a rgb header in my motherboard (My motherboard is Asus h610 me d4)will that do my work or it is necessary to purchase a rasberry?

Can I give the input using the screen capture option?

Just did some research and decided to go with RGB Strip Flexible Waterproof Light will these work?

No, the LED strip will not work!

You need stripes with individually addressable LEDs. GND, V+, Data or GND, V+ Data, Clock.

ws2812B or SK6812 RGBW (Data)

APA102, HD107S, HD108S (Data and Clock)

Which LED is the best?

Hey Hyperion-Members,

some of you don't know which LEDs to buy/choose. I found a overview with common LEDs:

We highly recommend the 4-Wire/clocked/synchronous Chipsets! They work directly on RPis SPI-Port without big known issues.
The 3-Wire/nonclocked/asynchronous Chipsets for example the WS2812B often leads to problems and require additional Hardware like an Arduino!
