yesterday i followed the official guide on the forum to install hyperion on my rpi3 with openelec and using arduino nano with fastled library and ws2812b leds , im testing with 10 leds, everything is working but with almost 1sec of delay
is there anything i can change in the software to improve this?
also, is there a way of connecting the leds directly to the RPi3? i saw some post about doing that but im not sure of how to do that.

how do i do that?
i managed to change the setup and configured my rpi3 with 3-wire pwm , but every time i play a new stream the cpu goes over 100% and the wifi gets shutdow and the only way to reconect is with a restart -
in the hyperion.config.json file there is an smoothing option, i believe if you do search on the forums you will all the answers you need about smoothing, i cannot help you with the other problem sry

Is it delayed when you set a specific colour or with a grabber ?
If it's slow or seems to miss colour changes the arduino might be dropping bytes
