Error 404 while installing

    Hi,
    i'm strugling to get Hyperion work since the 10-2015 update. Hardware was working flawlessly with the WS2812b led strip until then. But today i chose to use terminal over Hypercon and found out this:

    Guys, help. I have a nice setup that worked and now i'm just driven mad with reinstalling OSMC everytime i try to change config with Hypercon.


    Using RPi one to test installation, since i use RPi 2 to watch movies...

    hm, sourceforge is out of service from time to time. This is bad no one could download hyperion currently :o

Only a very limited set of project pages are available until the main website returns to service.

    We are talking about OSMC 10-2015? They changed something with PWM and now it works or not. Sadly there is nothing we could do. (If this is your problem).

    Hi, i use 2016.06-2 OSMC image. I know there were some changes and that's why it stoped to work. I hoped to light it up with your ws281x driver for RPi 1,2 and 3. But with no success to this date. Now the 404 is gone, but the errors are still there. Have ben searching for those missing folders (or files) manualy with WinSCP. Didn't found them. Not a single one. Only thing that comes to my mind is permissions... I use default name and password, so that should not be the issue.

    I was having trouble making hyperion work with external tv sources so I updated OSMC on my rpi2 to version
    OSMC_TGT_rbp2_20160621.img
    from 2016-06-21.


    I can no longer install or update hyperion either. I hope this paste can help.


    New Hardware that doesn't work properly since 2020:
    202 APA102 Leds with 10amp power supply
    RPi 4 with power supply
    Windows Grabber, Win10 64bit PC
    Ubiquity Unifi Network


    Old Hardware that never worked properly since 2014:
    137 ws2801 LEDs
    HDMI splitter
    HD2AV (NTSC video source)
    STK1160
    rpi2 with OSMC

    The instalation finished without errors. But Hyperion status returned:

    Where did i go wrong?

    Looks like everything is working again. Here is what a clean install on a rpi2 osmc looks like in the SSH traffic:

    New Hardware that doesn't work properly since 2020:

    Format, install OSMC (2016.06-2), setup (lang.: Czech, timezone: EU-Prague, no changes to name os password). Reboot.



    After reboot i checked hyperions status.

    Searched with WinSCP, no config there. Created one with Hypercon.

    No other changes done. Saved, created conf., uploaded with Hypercon.
    Checked with WinSCP again. It was there.

    Do i need kodi checker? I've disabled it now.


    No errors so far. Kodi's running, did not freeze, like the last time. I post an update, if it's working, so we can close this.
