SOLVED RPI4 Ambilight

Hello,

I don't have found the information or not completely in the forum, I'm new user.

I will install librelec or OSMC with Kodi and use RPI4 to show 4K and HDR content and make ambilight for internal source.

If I buy :

Led SK6812 RGBW (5m with 60led/m)
Power supply 5v 20 A
Corner connector 3pin

Should I use ambilight with the 4K and HDR content, or it's better to keep my RP3 with an USB to HDMI video capture and splitter 4K ?

Power supply 20a is fine
It is better to solder the corners

 

The corner connectors are very prone to failure.

I don't have solderstation , there is another way to do it without solder ?

 

Try to bend them!
Works fine for me

 

Bending is not a good idea!
In most cases this leads to defects.
