Raspberry Pi Zero 2W

  • Hei there,

    First of all, I do not find any information on how to set up hyperion in 2023 and 2024. Neither on google, nor on youtube.

    I am using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, and I am completly new in this area. I did set up everything in the same way, as I have seen in a youtube video, where a Raspberry Pi Zero was used, but it doesnt work. Only the first LED is lights up blue.

    I did solder Pin 19 to Data In on my LED strip, and Pin 23 to Clock In.

    But thats not the only problem. Even though I am using an HDMI splitter with HDCP 2.2, I always get an error on my Samsung RU7179 (2019) that says, that my content cant be shown because HDCP 2.2 is not supportet.

    My general Setup is:

    Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k -> Denon AVR X2500 Receiver (audio to my 5.1 setup, video to the video grabber) -> video grabber (USB to Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, HDMI to TV) -> Samsung RU7179 TV / Raspberry Pi Zero 2W -> Pin 19 and 23 to LED

    Please help me, I dont know any further.

    I do also have a Raspberry Pi 4B, but I dont know either which Pins I have to use there.

    Thank U!!

    Check /boot/config.txt

    dtparam=spi=on

    The video grabber will not support HDCP 2.2.

    What exactly do you use?
