ok, it was some hardeware issues... connected everything on my breadboard and wit works
are there commands to test the leds with a script from my mac?
edit: how can i change it from GPIO2 to GPIO0?
#define NeoPin 2
to
#define NeoPin 0
?

Excellent !
The 2 uart options and the DMA option ignore the neopin cos they are dependent on the onboard peripherals.
NeoEsp8266BitBang800KbpsMethod Is the only method that will let you use an arbitrary gpio.
Allegedly this method can cause ESP reboots but in previous versions of the library they seem rare.
Sorry if this was part of the cause of your issues. I have already made this clearer in my code since my last commit.
My plan is to make this web configurable along with host name and port numbers
It only works with one esp. Dont know why the others dont work... Do you plan a Web gui to Chance between udp and self choosen colors? That would be cool!
Weird - what are the flash sizes (or flash chips if you can read them) ?
And yes - basic web control of colour is on the list
dont know cant read it, dont know why...serial monitor doesnt work to, realy confusing... is there a script where i can read it? the "get board info" doesnt work too...
any new updates on this one penfold?
Yep - I'll update the repo later today.
There some experimental stuff in there too - view current LEDs in an html table.
I need to return this as a bitmap tho - the html is a bit bloated
Good to hear! wil use it on my nodeMCU cause my ESPs...dont know...dont want to work
The latest is up there a I can't remember what is new vs cleanup.
The bitmap stuff that there doesn't work.
Oh and it setup for DMA mode with the strip on the RXD pin (but you can still change the mode to uart or bit bang)
Is it also possible to use the sketch with the APA102, because i normally only have seen the use of GPIO2 in the Sketch, but the APA102 need two wires (Clock and Data) afaik.
With some changes, yes.
Neopixelbus now provides apa102 support so it should be easy to add
@penfold42 what do you recommend now, the udp-sketch or the espixelstick?
Espixelstick is where my efforts will be consist closer to what I want.
Downside is, SPI led devices won't be added soon cos the whole led backend would need replacing with neopixelbus
Okay so no P'n'P with the APA102 till now.
Nope - are you willing to test it ?
No Problem, but at first i have to order everything Shouldnt take too long, cos i have seen that sourcing the APA Stripe etc. from Germany is not much more expensive than getting it from China, considerung i have to pay customs etc. on it.
Edit:
Okay Hardware is ordered.
What sort of esp8266 do you have ?
The tiny ones like ESP-01 don't break out the spi pins so we have to use bitbashed SPI rather than hardware SPI
Just ordered the Wemos D1 Mini, because it already has Voltage Regulator and and USB Serial onboard. Also most of the Pins are accessable.
i am interested in , as now there are no controller in the market support wifi on smart led strip , now i think WS2813 led strip is popular , and i want to know if your controller can support SD card or there are software for this controller ?
How would an SD card be used ?
It's primary use right now is to listen to wifi packets (possibly sent by Hyperion) to set the LEDs
It should work with ws2813 as the protocol is the same as ws2811/ws2812
