2 sets of lights

  • Hey i have a rpi2 + openelec.
I have two sets of 50 LEDs.
I would like to set per set.
I have created in hypercon 2 sets one called device_1 and other device_2.
through the log I get this:

    ssh in: Hyperion Ambilight Deamon
    ssh in: Version : V1.02.0 (brindosch-2828c78/95e4d4e-1461938433
ssh in: Build Time: Apr 29 2016 12:49:00
ssh in: INFO: Selected configuration file: /storage/.config/hyperion.config.json
ssh in: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
ssh in: what(): Failed to parse configuration: * Line 124, Column 1
ssh in: Missing '}' or object member name
    ssh in: Aborted (core dumped)

    how can I solve this?
everything I do is not good.
    I } admitted adds line 124 column 1.

    please help.

Without your config Nobody can help you... Could you please Paste to pastebin.com :classy:

  • it is the config that makes hypercon v1.02.1.

  • Please delete the second color calibration profile. this is currently not supported. We disabled the fields at the current version (V1.02.2)
You can´t use 2 different stripes in one row. You need to split them.

please use code tags to post code

  • like here.

    * 'id' : The unique identifier of the channel adjustments (eg 'device_1')
    * 'leds' : The indices (or index ranges) of the leds to which this channel adjustment applies
(eg '0-5, 9, 11, 12-17'). The indices are zero based.

  • until then I use a different config that works.

  • @edwinvd1
Investigated, this is my bad. I killed the support of Hypercon. It just produces garbage with more than one
You could do it yourself for now

Here is a working config example for the new values

  • That worked for me (again) by editing the config manually. When will you add this nice feature again? I need this and (HSV value gain adjustment) to compensate the LED brightness of the stripe part that is closer to the wall the other part.
