White color is yellow

    Hello friends.
    I using WS2811 GRB strip for hyperion and my problem is :
    pure white color is close to yellow.
    Im using OSMC with RP3 with 236 LED and 20A PSU.
    where is the problem
    I search too much. But nothing found.

    Can you measure the 5v supply at each end of the strip ?

    I already measure 5v to two head of strip.

    This happens when you don't have enough power available for all LEDs. Try out two things:
    1. Connect power to both sides of the LED strip - Data line should be only connected from one side
    2. Change the LED count being used by Hyperion and try to turn half of the LEDs white. If they turn white then it means your power supply is the issue.

    You will need to supply power at every corner, while ur power supply might be able to handle 236 leds, i can tell you that i had the same issue (in my case it was reddish white) even with just 170 leds.

    All that was resolved when i applied power at every junction point possible, then and only then it started looking fine.
