    Ambilight for ever

  • To reply to myself, the abovementioned 9€ HDMI capture adapter does support 4k 60Hz 4:2:2 input, but DOES NOT support 4:4:4 input.

    I have bought it and I am not happy...

  • I have a xolorspace slitter and a cheap loop grabber. The grapper is not working great. So I want to purchase a HSV321 mirabox, but it's hard to get in the Netherlands. What alternatives do you guys advise?

    Ambilight for ever

  • Of course I have seen the first post. But it's not that clear to be honest. German and English combined, HSV320 is not recommended because of the macrosilicon, below is mentioned other macrosilicon.

    Maybe I can rephrase, what is a good place to order a HSV321 for the Netherlands?

  • There are cheaper grabbers with Macrosilicon MS2109 as HSV320 so I can't recommend it.

    Grabbers with Macrosilicon MS2109 are sufficient for Ambilight.

  • Hi everyone,

    does anyone have an idea or even experience with a grabber that supports 4k/120Hz (e.g. for a PlayStation 5 or high-end PC). With HDMI 2.1 (HDCP2.3) support? Or is there a splitter/scaler that can provide the right EDID for 4k/120Hz?

    Best regards Tim

    Hallo zusammen,

    Ambilight for ever

    Ambilight for ever

  • I'm using a gofanco splitter. Diva's a bit out of my range. I will try your suggestion of

    Mirabox USB3.0 4K HDMI Video Capture Card, 1080P 60FPS HD.

    Thanks - keep you posted.

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Hello, I'm a little confused. The grabbers listed here are compatible up to a maximum of 4K 60 Hz.
    Is it the case that these devices are not responsible for the picture quality of the television, but purely for the Amilight?
    I'm currently reading up on the topic and plan to operate the television at 4K 120 hz.
    Thank you very much
