Hello, may depend on platform, @djhansel developed a windows (currently just dx9 and a "Alpha" version) grabber to send pictures to hyperion. You could try it, if this fit your needs. Feedback is welcome [WIKI]Windows Grabber[/WIKI]
For HyperionScreenCap there's also an PR pending which improves some things as well: https://github.com/hanselb/HyperionScreenCap/pull/8
Hello! Sorry for the latence Lime-light is a client for raspi. I think he work with java... https://github.com/irtimmer/moonlight-embedded
So this is the client, and on which platform is your "server"? Do you see the game there too? It is running in fullscreen?
Ok the server is executed in fullscreen on Windows, and i can see the game on the two screen. Its possible to send the grabbed frame on windows server to the raspi? Because i hope bypass the hdmi
try this one [WIKI]Windows Grabber[/WIKI] Still in "alpha" and just dx9, but as @Rick164 wrote, a pending code that should improve the dx support. Hope the developer has some time the next weeks/days
Hmm so it's a gamestream fork that's pretty neat, probably need to have HyperionScreenCap on the receiving client if it's a DirectX 9 game and Windows but otherwise you are only left with the live capture option for now.
Ok I don't hide you that grabbing the frame of client would be much better ^^. Maybe we can contact the developper of lime-light? Because with lime-light, he is possible to stream all content on the computer (native game, emulator,ect...) if Hyperion compatible, it would be amazing!!! Sorry for the EnglishGoogle --'
Hyperion works on RetroPie too, so it may be possible that this is already working. (or at least the half of it) I need to check that, i will report back. Edit: i can´t check that no nvidia card
Hm no, a normal limelight install, i need to check if you could use the hyperion install script for testing it yourself.
I just realized, that limelight ist just a .jar you start, that may be a problem edit: no it is not? You install it via apt-get? damn blog posts, so confusing Just try with our install script and report what happend
It does not run with this moonlight (limelight), using libreelec: https://github.com/dead/moonlight-openelec-rpi2 AFAIK it closes Kodi = no hyperion (tried with MenuGrab = true) then loads the stream, when you exit stream it goes back to Kodi. Would be nice with hyperion support Lol Nevermind it works think grabmenu has to be true
