It is actually more annoying then I would have thought, before I experienced it.
Thanks, I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere inside EU.
Or I might give up on the whole endeavor, and use it for my PC instead.
if you use the search, there was a thread where some users soldered a wire in splitters to have cec
I've searched for both 'splitter cec' and 'hdmi cec' and looked through 10 pages of results and didn't see anyone talking about soldering a wire to enable cec.

Und der ezcoo aus dem Link kann es laut Beschreibung und Berichten hier im Board auch.
