LEDs in bad Order

I installed the strips on my TV last night. When I went to connect the four sides this afternoon I realized I didn't check the strip direction. If I were to still connect the strips (correctly) but in a weird order (not one string around the TV) could I fix the order in software?

DOut from the RPI must go to DIN, DOUT from the stripe to DIN of the next strip, etc.

Seen from the front of the TV, the LED's should be mounted/light up in a clockwise direction, this direction can be reversed with Software.

So I understand the DIN and DOUT portion, I just forgot to orient the strips properly when I stuck them to the TV. What you are saying is I need to pull them off and get them stuck again somehow.

Is there not a way to position them individually? I think I saw that in the documentation.

There is only one direction in which the stripes can be connected DI->DO, this cannot be changed by software.
